Clear explanations without the jargon

We’ll explain things at a comfortable pace and leave time for questions. Whether you’re new to computers or just unfamiliar with a particular task, we can help you practise the steps that matter to you.

Settings, updates and unfamiliar changes

We can help make sense of settings, software updates and changes to the way your computer works. We’ll discuss suitable adjustments before making them and explain anything that affects how you use your device.

Looking after your files and photographs

We can help you understand where important files are stored, organise suitable folders and discuss a backup. We’ll explain what is being copied, where the backup is kept and how you can check it, so the arrangement makes sense to you.

Getting your equipment working together

We can help with everyday connections between compatible computers, printers, phones and tablets. If a task involves several devices, a home visit lets us look at the setup where you normally use it.

What will it cost?

£60 covers the first hour and is our minimum charge. Additional time costs £15 per 15 minutes. There is no separate call-out charge. We’ll explain any equipment or paid software costs separately before you decide.
